Always Be My Maybe
Nahnatchka Khan (U.S., 2019, 101 min.)
In the opening '90s-set sequence of the Netflix romantic comedy, the younger versions of lead characters Sasha and Marcus pose for photos in a booth on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco (home of the Musée Mecanique and a real booth).
An arcade attendant puts the photo in a keychain viewer, which Sasha looks though. No word on how light passes through an opaque photo, but she sees a frame as the scene ends.
