PHOTOBOOTHS IN MOVIES & TV

Havoc

Gareth Evans (U.K. U.S., 2025, 107 min.)

In Gareth Evans' violent police drama starring Tom Hardy, Mia (Quelin Sepulveda) takes a strip of four photos, barely changing her expression. The photobooth she's in features ratty fabric for side curtains, and sits outdoors, rather inexplicably, in Raul's Salvage, a junkyard under a bridge in the film's unnamed American city.

Raul (Luis Guzman) takes the strip from her to get her a passport. The cabinet is authentic, but the photos are faked—then again, the film is set in the U.S. but filmed entirely in Wales, so the artifice is consistent.
