C'eravamo tanto amati
Ettore Scola (Italy, 1974, 136 min.)
Nicola (Stefano Satta Flores) looks at a set of photos of Luciana (Stefania Sandrelli) taken in a photobooth. For some reason, this scene is mentioned in a number of articles as being a part of Fellini's La Dolce Vita, which it is most definitely not.
The stages of Luciana's agony are recorded in the four frames of the photobooth; either it was a slow set of photos, or she disintegrated rather quickly.
Thanks to Storisk for his forum post which led to images from this elusive film.
