Five Time-Based Photobooth Portraits on DVDs

Dick Jewell's mixture of the photobooth and video art combines portraits of different people taken over an extended period of time. In his words:
I thought it was becoming a norm to spend time sitting in an enclosed booth within art galleries to watch video installations and I thought it would be appropriate in this situation to watch a video of people that had gone into a booth over a period of time, i.e. a photobooth. To this end, I produced four DVDs of time lapsed portraits and arranged monitors in the proportion of a photobooth strip. The speed of the dissolve of each animated portrait was relative to the overall time span that each set of portraits covered.
