John Wilkes Photo Booth

Daniel Sanders and Peter Tower (2006)

The best-named photobooth project out there, the John Wilkes Photo Booth is a "digital photo booth with color and black and white capabilities. Using professional grade digital photography and printing equipment, the booth provides an old-timey four-shot photo booth experience with the touch of a single button."

The Wilkes Photo Booth is so named based on the premise that "...Booth was hired by the Potomac Photographic Booth Company, early manufacturer of what we know today as the photobooth. According to this theory, the Lincoln assassination was arranged to prevent legislation to outlawed [sic] photobooth from being signed into law." Brilliant.
