This corner bar in Pilsen, tucked under the Dan Ryan Expressway, seemed to me to be in the middle of nowhere, but when I went inside, it was much bigger than I'd expected, and packed with people. Thankfully, it was a very different scene than Shenanigan's and Excalibur, my two previous stops, and I made my way to the booth in the corner, through the tables of people enjoying their beers.

The photobooth, a Model 21E black and white machine, had the classic "Photographs" sign on top, and produced great photos with four rounded corners on each shot. Very nice.

UPDATE 11/6/16: Andrew writes that the booth here is in poor condition as of a visit today, but it's still working.

UPDATE 5/1/22: Becca reports that the Skylark booth is still going strong.

UPDATE May 16, 2026: Thanks to Stacie for an update on this venerable booth, "the same booth as on your website with just some color and sign changes. Strips came out high contrast with a black strip along the bottom of each pose. We did 5 strips and all had a rough white line extending from the top of the strip to the bottom on the left side."
