Marc Bellini is a French artist who has worked in a variety of media, including the photobooth. He is a graduate of the Sorbonne and the Ecole Nat. Sup. des Arts Decoratifs.
In 2011, Bellini's photobooth work was the subject of a one-man show in London.
When I came to explore the multiple possibilities offered by the automatic photo booth, I came up with a new language made up of shapes and colours. In more than 16 years I have elaborated a composition that expresses who I really am. I communicate with the world around me through symbolism (colours and forms).
In my mundane and popular strips, I try to present something very simple, pure on surface, on transparence, and deep in opacity.
