Thanks to our old friend Vince for an update on a new location in Colorado: "We installed Denver's 3rd analog booth on Saturday, 3/1. It lives at CPAC and raises funds for teen photography programs. This is a special engagement for the Month of Photography, which happens each March here in Denver. The event was founded by photographer Mark Sink in 2004 and this year encompasses over 100 events across over 80 galleries and venues across the city, all focusing on the art of photography. CPAC is ground zero for the event and everyone involved hopes/intends to keep the photobooth permanently at CPAC.
"This was a ground up restoration. I took a M14 that had been converted by Auto Photo Canada in the 1990s to have that 1990s Mall look, and they made it look more like an M17. I tore it down to change it back to a Model 14, with added color and the Photo Bang 'slant' to style it as our own." Contributed by Vince Dressel |
