The 2009 International Photobooth Convention in Chicago afforded us the opportunity for some late night booth-seeking. A few people who stopped by the convention mentioned the booth at Quenchers, so Brian, Tim, and Danny Minnick swung by late Saturday night for a quick photo.

The bouncer at the door allowed us to forego the "suggested" donation (never heard of that) of $5 after we explained our mission and gave him a convention button (which he promptly put on). The bar was fairly crowded and looked to have a temptingly large and diverse beer selection. We can't say much about the service as we were only there for the required three minutes, but the booth worked well.

One notable item: all the images on the side of the booth are color strips which gives the impression you are paying for a color photo. Not so -- the strip we got was decidedly black and white: deep, black backgrounds and a white stripe running down either side of the strip.

UPDATE October 21, 2015: Mark reports that Quencher's has replaced its booth with a digital machine.
