This was booth number two (of three) visited over the weekend during the 2009 International Photobooth Convention held in Chicago, Illinois. Once again, Danny Minnick (a frequent contributor to this site in town from SF), Brian, and Tim swung by this bar late Saturday night for a quick photo.

The bar is situated in Logan Square. Its name and the photos hanging around the bar take their inspiration from the well-known New York City crime scene photographer, Weegee.

The bar was sparsely populated for a Saturday night, but the photos didn't disappoint. While waiting for your photo to develop, there is an old-school tabletop shuffleboard table to occupy your time.

UPDATE 7/3/13: Ernesto reports that this booth is no longer located at Weegee's.

UPDATE 11/9/16: Andrew writes that (in what seems to us an unprecedented move) the photochemical machine is back at Weegee's, replacing the digital machine that came in sometime around 2013

UPDATE 11/9/19: Ben reports, "Still there, in great working condition, high contrast, white edge, very sharp, no chemical stains."

UPDATE 10/16/22: Rose reports "This booth is still going strong and the image quality is lovely! Strips are now $5 each though."
