Of the 23 photobooths I checked out at the 2007 Orange County Fair, this booth was the real find: a three-shot color booth. I visited this booth first, and it took fantastic, crisp photos with stunning color. In speaking with a couple of the folks helping out with the booths, I learned that the paper in the booth is likely the last of the wider paper needed to accommodate the three photos, so when it runs out, the booth will be converted to a traditional four-shot booth. One other booth a the fair was a three-shot booth, a black and white version, and it, too, seems to be working on the last of its paper supply. More booths used to be set up for three shots, but as of 2007, it's just these two, and by next year, there many be none.

Note that this booth as well as all others listed for the Orange County fair are only present during the fair's run each summer. In 2007, all booths were $5, requiring a token bought from an attendant. The booths were set up in three groups: near the front entrance (11 booths) which I've named group "A"; near the petting zoo (6 booths) group "B"; and near the Family Fair Way, group "C." The numbers correspond to each booth's location in the group, left to right.

UPDATE 8/15/22: Julia reports that the booths at the O.C. Fair have gone digital, fair-wide, ending a long tradition of beautiful analog booths.
