This nice-looking new Photo-Me booth is situated on the second floor of the Museum of Fine Arts, outside the exit of the David Hockney exhibition at the Museum in the Spring of 2006. The booth is decorated in matching color and design especially for the exhibition.
The booth has proved extremely popular over the course of the exhibition, and the day I visited, a line of customers was milling around the booth, waiting as Steve, the Photo-Me technician, performed some maintenance on the machine.
Sadly, it looks like the MFA did not the value of having a photobooth (like the Visionary Art Museum, the Museum of Photographic Arts, and the Warhol), and did not hold onto the photobooth after the exhibition ended.
The booth was written up in the Boston Globe, which we covered in the Photobooth.net blog. Contributed by Brian |
