This photobooth, tucked flush into the wall of "New York City's first solar-powered restaurant and market," is just one part of the Habana Outpost experience. At noon on a Saturday, it was fairly calm, but I can imagine the place gets jumping after awhile. I spoke with a nice woman behind the bar about photobooths for awhile, and she told me they'd had it there since they opened, in May of 2005. The machine looked like it could take quarters, but I saw a quarter lodged in the slot and went with bills instead. The image came out ok, though with a good deal of chemical mess on it that makes it look like I'm giving off sparks or something. The menu on the outside of the photobooth is a great touch. Nicely done! Contributed by Brian |
