The Heartland Cafe, the Heart of Rogers Park, as they call it, occupies an entire street corner in this nice residential neighborhood. It's a funky, healthy, politically active sort of place with a nice vibe. In addition to the cafe, they produce a journal and radio show, and have a theater program, an athletic program, as well as a few bars. The outdoor seating area was completely full on the Saturday morning I visited. The photobooth is located inside the first section of the cafë called the General Store, where newspapers, postcards, books, drinks, and frozen treats, among other things, are sold.

The photobooth, a Model 12 black and white, produces nice images with rounded bottom corners.

UPDATE 11/4/12: Lawrence reports that the booth is still in good working order.

UPDATE 7/8/13: Nikki reported that the cafe "removed their photobooth as of 2 weeks ago. My server did not know what they did with it."
