Just use a second monitor with a video feed out from your video camera, or web camera or digital canon power shot camera. That way guests see EXACTLY what the camera sees.

Also you could simply cut a circular hole in the acrylic mirror? and epoxy glue a uv filter into the hole if you are afraid people are going to mess around and bust your camera!

We are in the process of building a digital photobooth and have run into a snag.

We have our camera behind a piece of 2-way acrylic mirror, but it's cutting out a lot of light (about 20% at the moment). We tried a piece of plexi glass, which would obviously solve the light issue, but it is not very reflective, making it hard for the person in the booth to see themselves.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
