Hi,
We're glad to hear you're looking for photobooths for those venerable venues and the new Williamsburg location - sounds great. At the moment, no one I know of makes a photobooth that combines both the digital and traditional dip-and-dunk methods.
It would be pretty expensive and tough to justify; most folks, if they were ok with going digital, would just get a digital booth that produces a photostrip somewhat similar to a traditional strip. And on the other hand, the reason some people in this digital age still prefer the dip and dunk booths is because of the look of the booth itself, the look of the photos, and the aura surrounding the fleeting, unpredictable nature of the experience as a whole. So, to make a booth that combined both the digital and photochemical doesn't make much sense to either side of the debate.
We would, of course, advocate for the traditional booth, especially in a situation where you want to convey authenticity and respect for tradition and history. A digital booth seems more palatable for a hip new dance club, but for a real music venue where real bands play honest-to-goodness rock, I think a traditional photobooth is the only way to go. But that's just my opinion - best of luck with your search, and please, do let us know as time goes on what you end up doing, and if you pick up some old-style booths, we'll put them up on the site!
