There are 3 main electrical items you need to run a photobooth, they are
- Digital Camera
- Computer with right sofware and
- Photo printer.
The digital camera is connected to the computer via a data cable that is called a USB cable.
The printer is also connected to the computer via a USB cable.
All 3 devices obviously need power supplied to them as well. The photobooth program is then run on the computer and when the user presses a certain key on the keyboard the program will automatically fire the camera and then print out the photos.
As far as a business plan I have no idea what the prices are in the Phillipeans, but in the USA typically photobooth rentals go for around $1000 for four hours of time. In large metropolitan areas they can be more expensive on the order of $1500 to $1700 for four hours in places like NYC and Los Angelas. Typically costs are labor, paper, ink and transportation. Photo paper can range in cost from 20 cents a sheet to 35 cents a sheet depending on the printer. Most people spend a minute in the booth meaning around 60 sheets of paper are used per hour. Thus material costs are around $12 to $21 dollars per hour of rental.
