Santa Cruz update

Thanks for the update, Gwen. We'd heard that the two black and white booths had been sold - that is indeed sad news. I never made it up there to see them, and now I'm kicking myself. We'll make a note of it on the pages for those booths.

Went to the Boardwalk on Saturday (7/11/2009) in hopes of taking some photos with the family.

Unfortunately didn't see tis post that the B&W booths were gone, and I'm sad to report that I could not find the color booth mentioned above. I showed the photo of the booth to a couple of employees who did not recognize it. In Neptune's Palace there were a number of digital machines near the street-facing door. In the Casino, the photo booths are all near the bathrooms, and regrettably they're all digital as well.

We were just at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk last week and all but one of the film photo booths have been removed from the main arcade.

The black/white booths are all gone; the kids working there said "they took them out, probably forever". There are several digital booths but who wants those...

Very sad, I've been using these booths since I was a kid to document so many memories...
