Need to hack a FacePlace photobooth to store pictures taken

So the FacePlace photobooths have an OS and their app on flash memory. You can upload a company logo graphic to the memory so that it can use it for overlays. But there is currently no feature or option to save the pictures being taken into this flash memory. If you could, then you could download those pictures onto a laptop, make duplicates and/or burn CDs for your customers.

Anyone have any ideas for how to get a FacePlace photobooth to digitally SAVE the pictures its taking?

Heck, I would just like to get a hold of a few of them printers and a steady film supplier to retrofit some of my old booths. It doesn't look like Face Place uses the thermal strips anymore though, seem they have gone to 4x6's instead.
