Help building digital automated booth (no printing required)

I dont' know of any programs for the mac. For PC's there is www.photoboof.com software for $75 but you'll also need to use a canon powershot camera, those cost $200 or so and you'll need to buy PSremote software which is PC only too for $50.

I have written my own script using www.autohotkey.com but again this is for PC ONLY. It would work with Nikon capture if I put a little bit of time into rewirting it.

Your best bet if your are using a PC is PSRemote, in my opinion. I use both PSremote and photoboof and the Psremote is only $75 and the photoboof is $600.

The photoboof software does nothing more than run off the PSRemote software if you are using a Canon powershot. I was pretty upset after finding out the capabilities of psremote after I had bought the photoboof software. I like the features and the ease of use that psremote has over photoboof also.

I am an artist using photostrips as source material for digital artwork. I need great photo quality digital images to work from.

I have set up a "booth" w. my Mac and Nikon using Capture software but want to have a variety of tasks automated...ie. a voice instruction and a visual countdown. Does anyone know of any software options out there (or way to automate functions) that can simulate a photobooth experience w/out programming? (don't need a printing output and webcam options have too poor quality)
