It's not exactly a new booth for the Whitney Museum, but we've created a new entry to differentiate it from the old booth because the machine looks completely different and has a new price (and accompanying souvenir). After the Warhol exhibition closed in the spring of 2019. The museum kept the booth on in its gift shop, and at some point had it skinned with the custom "VINTAGE PHOTOBOOTH" sign.

The museum also created a custom folio to hold and display the strip, with a cutout for each image on the inside, and a single one for the final image on the outside, making it visible when the folio is closed. The photostrip and folio together cost $10; the full price is charged by the booth, and you pick up a folio with each strip presented at the checkout counter.

UPDATE April 10, 2024: Thanks to Natalia for letting us know that, sadly, after six years, one of the most reliable (and expensive) analog photobooth locations in New York City is no longer. The booth in the Whitney Museum gift shop has been removed.
