The Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes are really amazing. Incredibly well designed with great attention to detail, all constructed with high quality material. This place is part bar, part restaurant, part bowling alley, but really upscale. The photocopied articles on the men's room wall report that lots of Hollywood stars rent the LA Lucky Strike for their private (red velvet curtained) parties.

Unfortunately, this amazing venue is attached to the St. Louis Mills Mall -- a great concept with a really poor location. The Mills Mall is one of those upscale malls where even the janitor's closets are decked out with top-shelf materials. But from the look of it, not many people come here. For better or worse, the Lucky Strike facility only suffers as a result of its location. Too bad, really. It would be interesting to see how it would do in the city.

Oh, and did I mention there is a photobooth in Lucky Strike? There is. A 4 pic color booth that has been lightly customized with Lucky Strike signage.
