Thanks to John Mattoon for contributing photos of and information about this fantastic restored Model 11 photobooth. He writes:

About seven years ago, I got the bug to own a photobooth so I bought this Auto-Photo 11 from a diner that was closing in Lincoln, Nebraska. I had it shipped out here and it sat in the window of our photo shop, B&C Photo, Inc. here in Elmira, NY.

Over the next two years, the booth was restored to its current condition. I chose not to restore it to its original look and instead changed its cosmetics to reflect and compliment the control panel of the booth. It's a one of a kind now. It was changed from a quarter machine to a $5 token machine and now resides at Eldridge Park in Elmira, NY.

The booth sits next to the fully restored 1920s Eldridge Park carousel (by the way, the fastest carousel in the world) inside the carousel's building adjacent to Eldrige Lake.

The booth is very reliable and is open whenever the park is open, which is most evenings and all day weekends. The park also offers walking trails around the lake, miniature golf, a skate park, paddle boats, dragon boat ride, train ride, and many other attractions for the whole family. The booth is also a favorite stop of newlyweds on their wedding day.

The park had an arcade that originally housed a Model 11 that I and many local folks have fond memories of. It has been a lot of work to restore this amusement park to its current condition (history of the park available here).

Profits from the photobooth support the park and its ongoing mission.

UPDATE 8/12/23: Michelle let us know that the booth at Eldridge Park is no longer there.
